Dawn Group of newspapers organized an Education Expo 2007 at Jinnah Convention Centre Islamabad on February 24- 25, 2007. More than 100 universities from Pakistan, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Australia, Canada, Malaysia, France, Ireland, Korea and United State of America participated in the Expo 2007. The Dawn Group of newspapers specially invited Mohammad Ali Jinnah University, Islamabad Campus from private sector to participate in Dawn Expo 2007. Mohammad Ali Jinnah University set up a stall to present Pakistan's private education sector in the Expo. Dr. Muhammad Mansoor Ahmed, Executive Vice President along with Dr. Fazal-ur-Rehman Head of Department of Electronic Engineering visited the Expo and appreciated the arrangements of MAJU stall. Earlier Dr. Safdar Butt, Dean Faculty of Business Administration also visited the stall and met the students and faculty members of the organizing committee.

The event was very well organized and informative for the students as well as for the general public who showed keen interest in the MAJUniversity's academic programs. The management of Dawn Expo 2007 appreciated MAJU management on organizing a successful and informative stall and presented a shield to Mr. Naeemullah Khan, Media Advisor, the Convener MAJU Organizing Committee for Dawn Expo.
