Projects assigned by Mr. S.M.M Raza Naqvi Assistant Professor Mohammad Ali Jinnah University are designed to help to sharpen the organizational skills of the students. Each group consisting of five members was free to choose the type of event they wanted to organize.The group consisting of Miss Samia Shehzadi, Mr. Owais Zahid, Mr. Awais Yaqub, Mr. Asad Khalid, Mr. Fahad Arshad decided to arrange a photography exhibition in the University, something off the track. Never has there been a photography exhibition in Mohammad Ali Jinnah University, Islamabad Campus. The group used Pablo Picasso’s quotation, “Everything you can imagine is real” as a source of inspiration for the exhibition.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Mr. Arif Vaseer and Mr. Azim on Saturday, December 8, 2007. 50 photographs by Awais Yaqub were mounted and framed and were displayed in the exhibition.
The exhibition was for one day and attracted around 2000 people. A visit by Pakistan’s legendry and senior photographer Ghazi Ghulam Raza and Shafqat Altaf surprised everyone. Other notable people include a diplomat of European Union Mr. Kauser Bhuiyan, CEO of Kingcrete construction company Mr. Asif Minhas, Mr. Azim CEO of Red Concerns Marketing and Advertising agency, Ms. Sadia associate producer at TV One, Dr Safdar Ali Butt, Dean Faculty of Business Administration and Social Science, Mr. Zafar Moin Malik, and Mr. Osama Nazir. Everyone was unanimous in their praise for the management and art work displayed.

The group also thanked Mr. Arif Vaseer, Associate Professor and a faculty member of M.A.J.U. and Mr. Azim G.M of Red Concern Marketing Advertising Agency, Mr. Qaiser Bashir of Sony for sponsoring the event, and Mr. Andy Williams of SmugMug Inc New York for the assistance provided.
