The BS Finance and Economics program is aimed at developing professionals who can provide solutions to current financial and economic problems in our country. This program has been designed for students who wish to acquire career-oriented, market-driven education that would lead to rewarding careers. This program provides an opportunity to acquire advanced knowledge and skills in economics and finance. It focuses upon developing strong quantitative, analytical, and research skills to make better decisions of resource allocation and efficiency. It helps the student to think critically while applying economic and financial concepts to solve real-world business problems and opportunities. It provides a blend of qualitative and quantitative approach to better analyze the economic and financial problem. The graduates can also pursue further education in any of the programs like MBA, ICMA, M.Phil Economics, MS Banking, MS Finance, MS Financial Engineering, MS Project Management, MS International Finance.

(d) Project: A student is required to register for the Business Project after 60 SCH in summer.
Duration: This is a four year degree program comprising of 8 semesters with minimum of 130 semester credit hours (SCH). There will be a Fall and a Spring semester in each year. The Summer session will be utilized for business project or deficiency courses. The maximum duration to complete degree is 07 years. |
